Shelby (28, yellow hat), founder of CKA, is a women’s rights advocate and mother whose activism began with grassroots protests. She launched CKA (unofficially) in 2020, officially in 2025, channeling her passion into systemic change, including campaigns against restrictive reproductive laws in Kansas. Her leadership has turned CKA into a regional force for gender equity, blending community mobilization with intersectional advocacy.

Miranda (38, mask over face), CKA co-founder, is a human rights organizer best known for leading Salina’s 350-person George Floyd protest in 2020. A mother and former community educator, she focuses on LGBTQIA+ rights, creating programs and workshops to help protect the immigrant and LGBTQ community and advocating for marginalized voices in rural spaces.

Becky (37, right), a co-founder, escaped a Christian nationalist cult and now uses her insider perspective to challenge far-right ideologies. A mother raising sons to reject toxic masculinity, she focuses on empowering women in conservative communities. Her sharp strategic mind and resilience fuel CKA’s outreach.
